On April 2, 2012, a group of seasoned rescuers united, in memory of an animal lover, Justin Bartlett, who tragically lost his life at a young age, and formed the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue.

Through the knowledge base of these rescuers, their long volunteer “hands-on” hours, common sense and research driven processes, together they built the largest foster based rescue in the county, saving an average of a thousand animals each year, established a fleet of two adoption shuttles and a mobile unit, as well as launched them the county's first rescue magazine, "Rescue Tales." Though time consuming and exhausting, there was still more work to be done. http://www.justinbartlettanimalrescue.org/info/adoption

Panhandle Equine Rescue
Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc.  3099 E Chipper Rd
Cantonment, Fl  32533 Call (850) 587-3565

Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc. was founded by a small group of concerned citizens, when it was discovered that equine neglect cases were not being properly handled by the appropriate authorities. Equine were “slipping through the cracks” and nothing was being done to ensure their welfare.

PER became incorporated 2005 and shortly thereafter, three PER members were authorized by the court of Escambia County, Florida under FL. Statute 828.03 to investigate reports of equine in trouble and verify if there have been violations of state laws made for the purpose of protecting animals or preventing any act of cruelty to animals.

Our investigators attended a Horse Cruelty Investigation Workshop at North Carolina State University and still do continued education at every opportunity. Contact Vickie at 850-587-3671 for more info. http://www.panhandleequinerescue.org/

Animal Rescue Force of South Florida at
Palm Beach Antiques and Collectibles Show

Location: South Florida Fair Grounds   9067 Southern Boulevard West Palm Beach Fl 33421

Come out and see our wonderful pets for adoption while you are searching for treasures.

Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc, incorporated on September 2, 2005, may sound like a new organization; however A.R.F. was originally founded as a result of ”Animal Day,” a proclamation signed by then Mayor Walling, the dedication and guidance of JoAnne and Ronald Garretson on October 12, 1974 in East Brunswick, NJ.

On that day, volunteers gathered at the Brunswick Square Mall with tears in their eyes full of anticipation, but also fearful that the ten animals that they had to adopt out would not be adopted. Soon enough, their concerns would become history. The exhibit doors were officially opened at 10:00 am and by 10:30 am not only were the ten homeless animals adopted, but the volunteers had returned to the shelter to rescue more animals. Join Us and help the animals.  http://www.animalrescueforce.org/

It is the vision of Salty Dog Paddle that the domestic animal rescues we partner with will have enough funds to cover the costs associated with emergency medical treatment of the dogs they rescue and that our oceans are protected from pollution and harm to Marinelife. We envision a community where owner-surrender rates are reduced enough to eliminate the need for government-run kill shelters while reducing pollution in our oceans and ensuring participants understand the importance of our Marine ecosystem. http://saltydogpaddle.org/
