Our therapy animals include dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and many other species. Our program is designed to reach out to all in need, not just any specific age or disability. We reach those in need who are in cancer units, dialysis centers, burn centers, hospices, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. We also work with children who have had emotional or physical trauma. Camp Easter Seals, school programs, health and awareness programs, as well as working directly in schools. We also have worked directly with families on home visitation for the elderly.

With Central Floridians facing job lay offs and foreclosure many families are feeling hopeless and unable to care for their companions. Not knowing what to do many will abandon the family pet. Our shelters and rescues are overwhelmed with surrendered animals. This is not healthy for the family, the
pets, or the shelters.
Through the efforts of C.F.A.P. and community sponsors we are able to provide pet food and low cost services to the pet owners in the hope that they will be able to keep the family together through this difficult time.

The wonderful residents of Hunters Creek Nursing & Rehab Center have offered to help us. We want the residents know how much they are appreciated and realize they are still a very important and viable part of our community, while having fun at the same time. Whether animals, children or senior citizens, we need to be there for all of them right here in our own community.
Hunter's Creek Nursing home will be providing free entertainment. There will be food, petting pony, pony cart rides by Damon Entertainment, and Kathi Watson from Just Jewelry, selling gorgeous jewelry. What a perfect day to buy a Valentines Day gift for your loved one with the proceeds going to Second Hope Ranch, Inc. We not only want to help horses in need, but continue our education program for horse owners and enthusiasts. This fundraiser is to raise awareness of abused, neglected and abandoned horses. This Valentine’s Day Pet Adoption Party will give residents the opportunity to adopt dogs and cats who are in need of a loving home and find true unconditional love. Anyone who adopts a pet at the event will receive a complimentary picture with their new family member.
Adoption Requirements: Interested adopters must be at least 18 years old. Adoption fees apply, including a $50 refundable deposit if pet is not yet spayed or neutered. Only Miami-Dade County residents may adopt pets under the spay/neuter agreement.

Looking for a new partner to take long walks with, stare into their eyes, and receive unconditional love from? Then select one of our rescued horses, dogs, cats, goats, pigs, or other farm animals and show your new valentine how special they are!
During your "first date" with your new companion you'll be involved in training, feeding, grooming, health-care, or socialization. In addition, you'll likely "go back to their place" and assist in animal quarters' maintenance and grounds management.
This is a perfect way to pal around with a pig, hang with a horse, talk turkey with (what else) a turkey, or gab with a goat! You'll not find a more-interactive animal volunteering experience anywhere on the First Coast.

Joining us will be the Singing and Dancing Greyhound Musical Comedy Review.
